Senior BJP leader Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Mathura today in support of BJP candidate Hema Malini. Mr Shah said that this time the people of Uttar Pradesh will make BJP victorious on all 80 seats.
He said that the Congress party kept the Ram temple in limbo for 70 years. Mr Shah said that the work of removing Article 370 was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, adding that the Prime Minister has made the country strong and prosperous. RLD President Jayant Chaudhary, state government minister Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary, and former minister Shrikant Sharma were also present in the public meeting.
On the other hand, in Amroha, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and SP National President Akhilesh Yadav addressed a rally in favour of the alliance candidate Kunwar Danish Ali. Rahul Gandhi said this election is an election to save India’s Constitution and democracy. He said that if the I.N.D.I.A. alliance government is formed, the loans of farmers will be waived off. Along with this, the honorarium of MNREGA and Anganwadi workers will be doubled.
Addressing the public meeting, Akhilesh Yadav said that this time the I.N.D.I.A. Bloc is going to win the maximum number of seats in the elections.
