The security forces launched a search operation in a forest area near the Line of Control (LoC) in the frontier district Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir after detecting suspicious movement. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that a joint search operation by the army and police was launched in Chamrer and Gangna Top in the Buflaiz sector of Poonch district on Saturday morning. The search parties fired a few rounds in the Chamrer forest area on observing some suspicious movement but there was no retaliation from the other side. However, reinforcements have been rushed to the area for conducting a thorough search and combing operation of the area. More details are awaited.
