Scorching heat continues to grip Maharashtra, Chandrapur Records 41.4°C

The scorching heat continues to grip Maharashtra, with Chandrapur recording the highest maximum temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius today. The Meteorological Department has predicted a heat wave in Vidarbha for the next two days. It has also issued an orange alert for Akola, Chandrapur, and Yavatmal districts, while a yellow alert has been issued for Wardha, Nagpur, and Amravati districts.

       

Meanwhile, unseasonal rains have lashed Shahuwadi and Ajra talukas in Kolhapur district, providing relief to citizens from the intensifying summer heat.
