The Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) led by O P Rajbhar has rejoined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance. 

Party Chief Rajbhar, a former ally of the Samajwadi Party, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. In a tweet, Mr Shah said he welcomes Mr Rajbhar to the NDA family.

Mr Shah said that the entry of Rajbhar will strengthen the NDA in Uttar Pradesh and the efforts being made by the NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden will gain further strength.
