In the Forex market, the rupee today strengthened by 30 paise to settle at 86 rupees and 66 paise against the US dollar, supported by the weakening of the American currency in the overseas market. The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, is trading at 106.87 in intraday trade.
