In the Forex market, the rupee today depreciated by 45 paise to settle at 87 rupees and 33 paise against the US dollar due to volatile crude oil prices amid tariff uncertainties and foreign fund outflows.
The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, is trading at 103.73 in intra-day trade.
