In the forex market, the rupee ended marginally lower at 83 rupees and 40 paise against the US dollar on Thursday (28th March 2024).

The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, rose 0.29 percent to trade at 104.65 in intra-day trade.
