In Karnataka, RSS Sarasanghachalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and RSS Sarakaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale inaugurated the third annual National meet of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha of RSS in Bengaluru today. The Pratinidhi Sabha is the highest body of decision-making and policy formulation of RSS. Briefing the media after the inauguration, RSS Sahasarakaryavah Mukundaji informed that the three-day meeting will review the activities of the previous year and chalk out a road map for the future. The meeting will also discuss the activities planned to mark the centenary of RSS, being celebrated this year. Mr Mukundaji said that RSS Shakhas increased by 10000 in urban areas and three thousand in rural areas. RSS is working on around 90000 service-oriented activities, running 40000 educational institutions, 17000 healthcare institutions and 20000 social awakening activities. Speaking on current issues, Mr Mukundaji said that Mahakumbh has generated self-confidence among the Hindu community. On the situation in Manipur, he said ongoing ethnic violence is a matter of concern and the ethnic groups have reposed their confidence in the Central government to normalise the situation. He added that RSS is working with the Manipuri people and helping build trust and confidence among them.
