RSS Chief Dr.Mohan Bhagwat addresses Vijayadashami in Nagpur to mark the 99th foundation day of RSS

 

       

RSS Chief Dr.Mohan Bhagwat laments atrocities against women saying that shameful and disgraceful incident at RG Kar hospital in Kolkata is a result of Nexus between crime and politics.  Dr. Bhagwat was addressing the main function of Vijayadashami in Nagpur this morning to mark the 99th foundation day of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He also underlined the need for inculcation of cultural values from educational institutions. He said that the vulgarity spreading on some OTT platforms is responsible for the degradation of cultural values and it needs to be controlled by law under legal setup.

       

While commenting on the recent situation in the neighbouring Bangladesh, Dr. Bhagwat said that the radical ideology in the state of Bangladesh created insecurity not only for the Hindus but also for the minorities living in the Bangladesh. He alleged some powers are trying to capture the educational institutes, intellectual world by distorting the thoughts.

       

Dr. Bhagwat while underlining the importance of the constitution said that the information regarding the preamble, directive principles, fundamental duties and rights should reach to the common people and their should be a system for enlightenment of these four important things in the constitution among people.

       

RSS Chief also performed ShastraPoojan on auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.

       

Chief of Indian Space Reasearch Organisation-ISRO Dr.K. Radhakrishnan  was present as the chief guest on this occasion.  Dr. Radhakrishnan stated that the technology has brought a difference in higher education and National Education Policy 2020 will transform India into a vibrant knowledge economy.  

       

Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra,Devendra Fadnavis were also present on the occasion.

       

RSS was founded by first Sarsanghchalak Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur in the year 1925 on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. The organisation will complete its centenary next year.
