“Rozgar Mela” under the Mission Recruitment of the Union Government was organized at Frontier Headquarters BSF Jammu to distribute appointment letters to the selected 250 candidates of BSF, CRPF CISF, SSB, and ITBP.  Minister of State of “the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region & Cooperation” B. L. Verma handed over the physical copies of the appointment letters to the new appointees in the presence of IG BSF Jammu  D K Boora and other officers senior officials. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said, the target to recruit ten lakh youth will be completed by December this year as ensured by Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier. He added that till the 7th Rozgar Mela, a total of 4.84 lakh recruitments have been made. 
 
During these Rozgar Melas, the Ministry of Home Affairs  (MHA) has filled up around one lakh posts through Mission Recruitment, out of which about 87,000 vacant posts have been filled up in CAPFs.  The Minister said, this will significantly help our security forces to conduct their operations more efficiently and effectively and better manage a wide range of security issues across the entire country.
