The Regional News Unit of Akashavani, Hyderabad has organised, a panel discussion on "G20 India Presidency, Digital Transformation and Digital Literacy" at the IIT Hyderabad, Kandi near Hyderabad today. IIT – Hyderabad Director B S Murty said the academia and industry should work together to grow together. In his inaugural address, he said India transformed a lot especially in education and other sectors. He said the institute has introduced MTech course four years and research opportunities to those who are working in Industries so that they can study while working. Stating that the country achieved great strides, prof Murthy said the education transformed a lot during and after the Covid Pandemic, he said the IIT Hyderabad started 15 courses after the pandemic and it is reaching out to those who are interested to gain knowledge.
RNU head M S Mahesh explained the importance of Indian Presidency of G20 on this occasion. On the occasion, a number of students took part in the "Ideathon" competition regarding digital transformation.
