The Uttarakhand High Court and State Judicial and Legal Academy in association with the National Judicial Academy are organising a two-day Regional Conference of North Region-1 on Contemporary Judicial Developments and Strengthening Justice through Law and Technology at Bhavali in the Nainital district today.
State Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh inaugurated the Conference. Chief Justice of the State, Vipin Sanghi, was also present on the occasion. Seven judges from the Supreme Court and the Attorney General of India are attending the Conference, in addition to judges from the northern region.
The programme is divided into five sessions and will discuss elements of judicial practice, judgment writing, an overview of e-court projects, and emerging and future technologies for effective judicial administration.
