Ramayan fame actress Deepika Chikhlia attends 14th-anniversary celebrations of Janajati Kalyan Ashram in Kathmandu

Iconic TV series of Indian Ramayan fame actress Deepika Chikhlia attends the 14th-anniversary celebrations of Janajati Kalyan Ashram today, boosting community service efforts in Kathmandu.

 

Dipika Chikhlia, a renowned TV series actress in India who gained fame from Ramanand-produced serial Ramayan graced the 14th anniversary celebrations of Janajati Kalyan Ashram in Kathmandu today. With the recent consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Sita famed actress, known for her timeless role in the epic saga, was warmly welcomed in Nepal amidst much anticipation and fanfare.

 

The celebration was attended by renowned people from the society and the cultural program highlighted Nepal’s bond with India. With a network of Aamako Maya hostels for tribal children across 11 locations in Nepal, the Janajati Kalyan Ashram organization currently extends vital assistance to approximately 700 students, ensuring access to education, shelter, and sustenance. The presence of Dipika Chikhlia at the anniversary celebration encouraged other people to understand the importance of philanthropy and community service, and attendees in the program generously offered support towards the education of scheduled tribe children by adopting the kids for a month or a year as per their capability. Nepal has approximately 142 ethnic groups as per the Nepal Census 2021. Special efforts to enhance the living standards of various ethnic groups aid in the development of the nation.
