On the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, April 30, the Ram Darbar will be ceremoniously placed in the sanctum sanctorum on the first floor of Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, the Ram Darbar will be enshrined on the temple’s first floor, while six additional temples within the parkota will house idols of Surya, Bhagwati, Annapurna, Shivling, Ganpati, and Lord Hanuman. An idol of Lakshman will also be installed in the Sheshavatar Temple. He said that starting April 15, transporting the idols from Jaipur to Ayodhya will commence. As they arrive, the idols will be placed at their designated locations.
Mr Champat Rai informed us that a three-day Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled for June. The entire construction of the Ram Temple is projected to be completed by October 2025.
