Rajnath Singh Stresses BJP’s Anti-Corruption Record and Development Focus

Defence Minister and BJP senior leader Rajnath Singh today said, BJP Government remained free from corruption during the past decade and is committed for the nation building. Speaking at an election rally in Secunderabad in Telangana, Mr. Rajnath Singh criticised Congress for becoming corrupt whenever it comes to power. He said, the Congress has become outdated and losing its relevance in the country’s political spectrum. Mr Singh reiterated that the BJP does politics for the sake of the nation building and not merely for gaining power.

He also attacked Congress and BRS and said, the ruling party in Telangana has no moral right to seek votes without fulfilling the poll promises. Mr. Singh said, within seven years after Modi took over as Prime Minister, the country has become the fastest growing economy in the world. He said the BJP has fulfilled all the promises such as construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, abrogation of Article 370 and abolition of triple talaq. Ruling out allegations regarding CAA, he also asserted that minorities in the country will not lose citizenship under CAA.
