Senior BJP leader and Union minister Rajnath Singh has slammed the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government over the law and order situation in West Bengal and said that an atmosphere of anarchy is prevailing in the entire state. He alleged that Ms. Mamata Banerjee is misleading the migrant labourers of Murshidabad on the issue of NRC. Addressing a public meeting in Narsinhapur, Jalangi, in support of the party’s candidate from Murshidabad today, Mr. Rajnath Singh said the central government has brought various developmental schemes for West Bengal. He said, the Trinamool Congress is creating division in the name of religion, while the BJP is strongly opposing it.
