India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that enhanced rainfall and thunderstorm activity is likely to continue over Northeast India till Thursday. Heavy rainfall and snowfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh. IMD has predicted, light to moderate rainfall over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim. The weather office has also forecast light to moderate rainfall over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.

On the other hand, IMD has forecast, heat wave conditions over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka, and Telangana during the next three days. It said, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Odisha.
