In Denmark Open Badminton, two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu will face Indonesia’s world No. 8 Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the Quarter-finals of the women’s singles, this afternoon. The match is scheduled to start at 4:10 PM IST in Odense.

Sindhu defeated China’s Han Yue 18-21, 21-12, 21-16 in the round of 16 yesterday. She is the only Indian left in contention, with all other Indian shuttlers facing defeats in their first rounds.

The last time Sindhu and Tunjung faced off was at the 2023 French Open, where the Indian star emerged victorious.
