The Kremlin today said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had not any contact with former U.S. president Donald Trump on Wall Street reporter Evan Gershkovich’s possible release. Talking to reporters in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this after the former U.S. president said, he would use his ties with Mr. Putin to get Evan freed from Russian prison. In a social media message, Mr. Trump wrote that this would happen soon after the November election in the United States. Evan Gershkovich was arrested in Russia in March last year on spying charges.
