Punjab State Women Commission Chairperson expresses concern over increasing number of live-in relationship cases

Punjab State Women Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill has expressed concern over the increasing number of live-in relationship cases. She described this a worrying trend for the society. She said that not only young men and women but even some married individuals are also engaging in such relationships, which are weakening the social fabric. Mrs Gill emphasized the need to curb this issue and announced to recommend legal amendments to the state government on the matter. Addressing media after chairing a Lok Adalat in Patiala, she also expressed concern over growing intolerance within families. She said the rising number of old-age homes is another alarming trend for the society.
