Punjab Police Bust ISI-Backed Terror Modules, Arrest 13 Operatives

The Punjab Police have foiled a major conspiracy to disturb the peace of the state by busting two foreign-based, ISI-backed terror modules and arresting 13 operatives with a cache of arms and ammunition. Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav stated that these two modules were operated by France- and Greece-based Babbar Khalsa International operatives, who were working in close coordination with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence.

Police have recovered two rocket-propelled grenade launchers, two improvised explosive devices containing two kilograms of RDX with remote controls, two hand grenades, five pistols, 44 live cartridges, wireless sets, and vehicles from their possession. Mr. Yadav said that with these arrests and recoveries, the police have foiled an ISI-masterminded conspiracy to spread terror and disturb peace.
