A total of 45 village panchayats fall under the Dhar police station in Pathankot district. All these panchayats have given in writing to police that their villages are drug free now. On this basis, the Dhar police station has been declared drug free and it has become the first police station in Punjab to achieve such a milestone. SSP of the district, Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh considers it as a big success in the ongoing drug de-addiction campaign and expresses his gratitude to the residents of Dhar area, with whom cooperation this extraordinary achievement has become reality. He believes that even though the mission was difficult, the police achieved its goal due to the strong will power of the people.
