In Punjab, condemnation of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam is growing along with the demand for stern action against its perpetrators. Candlelight marches, protests, and prayers for expressing grief and solidarity with the bereaved families of those killed are being conducted by political parties and social organisations across the state since yesterday. Punjab Cabinet also paid tributes to those killed and observed a two-minute silence to pay them homage.

The Mufti-E-Azam of Punjab, Hazrat Molana Itqaul Hassan Qandalvi, while condemning the cowardly attack, has termed it as an attack on humanity and has asked for action against those responsible.
