An FIR has been registered against BSP candidate from Ferozepur Lok Sabha constituency, Punjab Surinder Singh Kamboj for violating the directions of the Election Commission. Surinder Kamboj has been booked for recording video inside the polling booth showing him casting vote at Jiva Arai village under Guru Har Sahai assembly constituency.

The Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab, said the Returning Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner of Ferozepur, Rajesh Dhiman immediately took action after the video went viral on social media and asked to register a case against the BSP candidate and another unidentified person.
