District Election Officer cum District Collector A.Kulothungan has requested the first time voters to cast their votes on the polling day. This would help to achieve 100% voting in Puducherry Parliamentary Constituency election.

He disclosed this while flagged off Voters awareness rally today evening at Kamban Kalaiarangam Puducherry.

He also appealed to the students to use C-Vigil mobile app to make complaints against violations of Model Code of Conduct. He assured that the details of complainant would be kept confidential.

District Assistant Collector Yashwant Meena, Deputy Chief Electoral Officers B. Thillaivel, M.Adharsh and others participated in the event.

In this Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation program better known as SVEEP rally, nearly 500 students from 30 colleges participated. The rally passed through Bussy street from Kamban Kalaiarangam and finally reached Gandhi statue,Beach Road.
