Principal Director General of Aakashvani Vasudha Gupta visited the Aakashvani and Doordarshan Kendras in Mathura today. She also held a meeting with the senior officials of both Prasar Bharati units. During the meeting, she gave suggestions to give more focus on the local programmes and issues. She said that programmes of Doordarshan and Aakashvani Kendras of Mathura are quite popular in the Braj region. She suggested that local traditions and religious rituals should be kept in mind while creating the programmes for their far-reaching impact. She asked for suggestions from the officers and employees of the Kendras to improve the quality of the programmes.
