After meeting scientists at ISRO in Bengaluru this morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached New Delhi in the afternoon, hundreds of people and BJP workers including Ministers, MPs, and MLAs welcomed him at the airport. BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda felicitated Mr. Modi for his successful visit to South Africa and Greece and for the success of Chandaryaan-3.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Modi said, the 21st century is driven by technology. He said, this is the need of the hour that to become a developed country by 2047, India has to strongly march forward on the path of science and technology. The Prime Minister said, that when we achieve some success, we resolve to prepare for new heights. He said that at the BRICS Summit, people from across the world congratulated him on Chandrayaan.
Mr. Modi said, after coming back, he conveyed to the scientists that the whole world has sent congratulatory wishes. He said, the point where Chandrayaan-3 landed, has been named as ShivShakti and where Chandrayaan-2 left its footprint on the Moon in 2019 has been named as Tiranga. The Prime Minister said, he has directed all government departments to involve space technology in the delivery of services to people in a transparent manner.
On G20 Summit, Mr. Modi said, Delhi is hosting the Summit, and people may face inconvenience, but we have to ensure its success. He said, Delhi citizens have got more responsibility for G20 as there will be so many guests coming.
Welcoming the Prime Minister BJP President J P Nadda said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance and direction have made Chandrayaan-3 a successful project. He said, it is making the whole nation proud. Mr. Nadda said, that Mr. Modi's commitment and dedication show that he went to Bengaluru directly and met the ISRO scientists who set a record for India with their hard work.
He said, in 2019 when Chandrayaan-2 could not succeed, everyone was disappointed. Mr. Nadda said, at that time the Prime Minister came forward and cheered the nation. He said, today the nation has established itself in the field of science and space and the world is appreciating India's science and research. The BJP president said, the Prime Minister's guidance has given the nation the chance to experience this moment.
