President Droupadi Murmu has expressed grief at the loss of lives, including those of women, in a wall collapse incident in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. In her message, President Murmu hoped for the speedy recovery of those injured.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the loss of lives due to the collapse of a wall in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh today. In a social media post, the PMO India said that Mr Modi announced an ex-gratia of 2 lakh rupees from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the next of kin of each deceased and 50 thousand rupees to the injured.
