President Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the people of Nagaland on their statehood day. In a social media post on Sunday, President Murmu said that endowed with a rich heritage of flora and fauna, the beautiful state of Nagaland is also a land of bravery. She lauded Nagaland’s strides in various development parameters as praiseworthy and sent her best wishes to the people of the state for a peaceful, prosperous and progressive future.
Vice-President Dhankhar highlighted that Nagaland’s untouched natural splendour, vibrant culture and deep-rooted harmony with nature, is truly captivating. He mentioned that with a strong connection to nature and a spirit of resilience, Nagaland continues to thrive as a cultural and ecological treasure of India. He hoped that may the state flourish, achieving growth and prosperity across every facet of life.
Prime Minister Modi said that Nagaland is widely admired for its rich culture and the wonderful nature of people belonging to the state. He added that Naga culture is known for its spirit of duty and compassion. Mr Modi also prayed for the state’s continuous progress in the times to come.
