President Droupadi Murmu reached Malawi today for the third and final leg of the three African nation visit. This will be the first ever visit by the President of India to Malawi. On arrival President was accorded a very warm ceremonial welcome. On the three day visit in Malawi, President is scheduled to hold bilateral and delegation level meetings and also to interact with Indian diaspora. President is scheduled to attend a buisiness event today . Later in the day she will participate in the community event and interact with the Indian community. The President will be holding bilateral meetings with the President of the Republic of Malawi Lazarus Chakwera and delegation level talks tomorrow. During the visit,President is also scheduled to visit places of historical and cultural significance in Malawi such as the National war memorial,Mausoleum, Shree Radha Krishna Mandir and Lake Malawi.The three day visit of President Droupadi Murmu in Malawi till 19 th oct is aimed at strengthening and expanding our existing cordial relation.
