Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis told the media in Napur that out of 13 victims, 10 are civilians and other three are navy personnel. Two others are critically injured and are undergoing treatment in Navy hospital. A total of 101 people have been rescued till now. Mr. Fadnvis said that the rescue efforts are underway by the Navy, Coast Guard, and marine police. Mr. Fadnavis also announced an ex-gratia of 5 lakh rupees to the families of the deceased from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in colaba police station in connection with the incident against Navy speed boat driver and others.
