President Droupadi Murmu reached Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Governor of Maharashtra C.P. Radhakrishnan received the President on her arrival in Kolhapur. President Murmu then visited Karvir Niwasini Shri Mahalakshmi temple and offered prayers and pooja. The President is on a three-day visit to Maharashtra starting today. Today she will attend the golden jubilee celebration of Shri Warana Women Co-operative Group at Kolhapur’s Warananagar at 3.30pm.

Tomorrow, she will address the 21st convocation of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) at Pune. Along with that, she will also be present at the centenary year function of the Maharashtra Legislative Council in Mumbai. On the last day of her tour, she is scheduled to inaugurate the Buddha Vihar at Latur’s Udgir and will also meet the beneficiaries of the ‘Shasan Aplya Dari’ and ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojna’.
