Polygraph test is being conducted on the former principal of the R G Kar Medical College and Hospital at CGO Complex of Kolkata. CBI is interrogating the former Medical Superintendent cum Vice Principal MSVP Dr Sanjay Vashist and Dr Debashis Som of the Forensic Department of the R G Kar Medical College at Nizam Place office in Kolkata.

Meanwhile, the BJP has clarified that it has not called tomorrow’s state secretariat, ‘Nabanna chalo’ march. Tomorrow Paschim Banga Chatra Samaj’ has called the march.  BJP said it supports the march and every call which cries out for justice for the victims of the R G Kar Medical College. Congress has also said it supports the ongoing protests in the state for justice.

Protests from all sections of society are going on in West Bengal. People are demanding exemplary punishment for those associated with the rape and murder of the 2nd-year PGT doctor at the Medical College and Hospital on 9th August.
