In Uttar Pradesh, star campaigners of different political parties campaigned for their party candidates today. Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister of State Yogi Adityanath addressed a political rally in Unnao district. He targeted the Samajwadi party and said that people still remember the poor law and order situation during the regime of Akhilesh Yadav. Mr. Yogi addressed rallies in Hardoi and Shahjahanpur districts also. Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav today visited Gauri Shankar Temple in Kannauj. Talking to the media, he said that the borders of the country are not safe in the hands of the present government.

Congress in charge of Uttar Pradesh Avinash Pandey today alleged that the Election Commission is working under the pressure of the government. Talking to media in Varanasi he said that when the first two phases of voting were over, then what is the point in telling theactual voter turnout data 11 days later?    

On the other hand, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Raebareli this evening. She has a meeting of party functionaries in Raebareli this evening from where his brother and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is contesting.
