Political campaigns are reaching their peak in Maharashtra as various political parties intensify efforts to secure the support of voters. Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Amit Shah addressed a rally in Sindkheda, Dhule district, reaffirming that the ruling Mahayuti alliance will return to power in Maharashtra, citing the example of Haryana. He criticised NCP(SP) MP Supriya Sule and MVA leaders for opposing the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Shah is scheduled to address further rallies in Jalgaon and Jintur later in the day. BJP President J.P. Nadda, Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Piyush Goyal, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also set to address election rallies in various parts of the state today.
In response, NCP(SP) leader Sharad Pawar launched an attack on the Mahayuti government for downgrading Maharashtra’s rank in the recent report by the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. He asserted that during his tenure, he and his party had worked to elevate the state to the top position. He is expected to address additional rallies in several locations later today. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is scheduled to address a rally in Latur, while Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray will be canvassing in Sawantwadi.
