Political campaigning has intensified for the last and final phase of the general elections in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today campaigned for film star and BJP nominee from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan. Addressing a rally in Kampilganj area, Mr. Yogi said that the BJP government has done a lot for the poor and downtrodden. Addressing another rally in Mirzapur today, Mr. Yogi said that the BJP is the only party working for the welfare of every section of society. Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya also addressed a rally in Bansgaon area of Gorakhpur district.

On the other hand, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav along with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi jointly addressed political rallies in Mohan Sarai area of Varanasi and in Bansgaon Lok Sabha constituency.
