Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi has accused the Congress party and the INDI Alliance of selfishness and vote-bank politics. Addressing a rally at Hoshiarpur in Punjab today, he said that for the sake of vote bank, Congress has continuously opposed the construction of the Ram Temple and is now also opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Mr. Modi said he has resolved that no one will be allowed to snatch the reservations of Dalits, OBCs, and backward classes. He said that their own intentions regarding reservation are very dangerous, and by insulting the spirit of the constitution, they want to snatch reservations from Dalits, OBCs, and backward classes and give it only to Muslims. It was a big conspiracy to divide the country on the basis of religion, and he said that it has been exposed, and hence now they are abusing Modi.
