Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader, Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting at Palit of Bardhaman in support of party’s Bardhaman-Durgapur candidate today. He said that he wishes to work for the people and make India a developed country. He said  India and Indians will not live the life of poverty and present government is working for womnen empowerment . Mr. Modi said Congress wishes to deprive the Dalits and give reservation to Muslims. TMC and Left Front are silent in this matter.

In another public meeting in Krishnanagar in support of Krishnanagar, Ranaghat and Baharampur candidates, Prime Minister said I.N.D.I.A alliance, Congress, Trinamool Congress and Left Front are doing the politics of appeasement and vote bank. Congress has divided the country at the time of independence on the name of religion.  He said Trinamool Congress is protesting CAA and misguiding common people on the issue. Sandeshkhali has proved the misrule of TMC government.

Mr. Modi said his government had given various welfare schemes to West Bengal. TMC government is creating hindrances to implement these schemes.
