PM Narendra Modi to address gathering of Indian community in New York tonight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a gathering of the Indian community in New York tonight. He reached New York and was warmly welcomed by the Indian diaspora. Mr. Modi will also be interacting with CEOs of leading US-based companies to foster greater collaborations between the two countries in the area of cutting-edge technology. 

 

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Quad Leaders Summit in Delaware, US. Mr Modi also held bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden. In a special gesture, the US President hosted PM Modi at his residence in Greenville. During the meeting, the two leaders identified new pathways to further deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.

 

On the sidelines of the Quad Summit, Prime Minister Modi also held talks with his Japan and Australian counterparts. Mr Modi and his Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, reviewed the India-Japan relationship and talked about ways to expand the bilateral relations. Mr Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, during their meeting, reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for mutual benefit as well as for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific region.
