Prime Minister  Narendra Modi paid tributes to the former Prime Minister  Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary today. Rajiv Gandhi, who served as the 7th Prime Minister of India from 1984 to 1989, was born on the 20th of August 1944.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Party leaders Sonia Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi have also paid their tribute to Rajiv Gandhi at Veer Bhumi in Delhi.
