Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the outstanding performance by the Indian contingent at the 25th Asian Athletics Championship 2023. In a tweet, Mr. Modi said the Indian athletes have won 27 medals, the highest medal tally on foreign soil in an edition of the Championships. He congratulated the athletes for this achievement saying it fills our hearts with pride.

In Asian Athletics Championships, concluded yesterday in Bangkok, India displayed a fantastic performance as they finished third winning 27 medals with six Gold, 12 Silver and Nine Bronze.
