Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said the BJP will form a government after 4th June, and every corrupt person will be sent to jail. Addressing a public meeting in Purulia Lok Sabha constituency of West Bengal, he said, the TMC government is not concerned about SC, ST and Dalits. He alleged that TMC and Congress would snatch their reservation if they came to power in Delhi. Mr Modi said Dr BR Ambedkar was not in support of reservation on religious grounds.
Prime Minister and Senior BJP leader Narendra Modi today said that the 2024 Lok Sabha election to strengthen the country’s present and future. Addressing an election rally in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand for party candidate Bidyut Varan Mahto today, Mr. Modi said businesses are of paramount importance for the development of the country.
Launching a scathing attack against Congress, he said, the party considers business community as enemies of the country. Taking a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi without naming him, he dared the chief ministers of the Congress and their alliance partner-ruled states in Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and also those from INDI Alliance to oppose businesses and investors. Mr. Modi sought to know how the youth from these states would get employment if the parties keep opposing businessmen and investors. He asked people, whether there should be no discussion on the economy, small and medium enterprises, agriculture, new opportunities for the youth of the country in the ongoing election. However, he said, the Congress and the JMM are not bothered about such issues as they do not know anything about development. The Prime Minister said the Congress and INDI Alliance have been raising that SC, STs reservations will be snatched away. He asked, why can’t they think beyond this? Saying that Jharkhand is very rich in natural resources and minerals, he said the state still witnesses poverty. He castigated the JMM which is in power in the state and alliance partner Congress for alleged widespread corruption.
In Odisha, campaigning is in full swing for the sixth and final phases of general elections and state assembly elections which are scheduled on the 25th of this month and 1st of June. Top leaders of all major political parties, the BJD, BJP and Congress are on the campaign trail seeking votes for their party nominees. Senior BJP leader and Union Minister, Rajnath Singh today campaigned in Rairakhol under Bargarh parliamentary constituency for BJP candidates for both Lok Sabha and assembly seats and requested voters to vote for them. Odisha Chief Minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik addressed election meetings in Keonjhar and Bhadrak parliamentary constituencies and highlighted the works done by his government in the last 24 years. He is also scheduled to hold a mega roadshow tomorrow at Bhubaneswar.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi arrived at Bhubaneswar this evening on a two-day visit to Odisha. The Prime Minister convened a high-level meeting with state BJP leaders at the party headquarters in Bhubaneswar immediately after his arrival to discuss poll strategies and preparedness. He is slated to visit the revered Sri Jagannath Temple at Puri and participate in a roadshow tomorrow morning, after which he will also address election rallies in
Angul and Cuttack.
