PM Modi dreams of including at least one Indian product in every international kitchen

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that his vision is to ensure the presence of at least one product, grown by Indian farmers, in every kitchen of the world The Prime Minister said that his government is relentlessly working in this direction by promoting the export, processing and marketing of agricultural products. Mr. Modi was addressing a public meeting at Bhagalpur after releasing the 19th installment of the PM KISAN scheme to 9.8 crore farmers. He released an amount of 22,700 crore rupees as financial assistance.
The Prime Minister said the promotion of Makhana is also such an initiative in this direction. He said after the constitution of the Makhana Board exports will increase in the global market and growers will get help in production, value addition and marketing. He said Eastern India has huge potential in food processing so we are going to establish NIFTM in Bihar.
Mr. Modi said Bihar can lead in this sector. The Prime Minister said the rise of India will take place from the East and Bihar will be a robust pillar of it. The Prime Minister also announced three new Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bihar at Bhagalpur, Munger and Buxar to promote mango, tomato, onion and potato.
Mr. Modi also announced the formation of the 10,000th FPO. He said it can enhance the income of farmers amazingly and 30 lakh farmers have so far joined FPO across the country. PM Modi expressed happiness that 40 percent of members of FPOs are women and doing business in thousands of crores.
The Prime Minister said his government is working for the preservation of heritage and for the beautiful future of the country like the holding of Mahakumbh but the opposition is trying to malign it. He said Congress and RJD are using abusive words for Mahakumbh but people will not forgive them. Mr. Modi also added that after Nalanda another Central University in Vikramshila in Bhagalpur will be established. He said the government is going to expedite the work.
Earlier the Prime Minister inaugurated development projects of agriculture and its allied sectors, railway and connectivity projects worth over 700 crore rupees.
