PM Modi to Launch Development Projects Worth Over ₹7,600 Crore in Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of development projects worth over seven thousand six hundred crore rupees in Maharashtra on Wednesday through video conference. According to an official press release, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stone for the upgradation of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur and the New Integrated Terminal Building at Shirdi Airport.

 

In line with his commitment to ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare for all, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Government Medical Colleges located in Mumbai, Nashik, Jalna, Amravati, Gadchiroli, Buldhana, Washim, Bhandara, Hingoli, and Ambernath in Thane district.

 

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Indian Institute of Skills (IIS) Mumbai, with the aim of creating an industry-ready workforce. Established under a Public-Private Partnership model in collaboration with the Tata Education and Development Trust, the institute plans to provide training in highly specialized areas like mechatronics, artificial intelligence, data analytics, industrial automation, and robotics, among others.

 

Mr. Modi will also inaugurate the Vidya Samiksha Kendra, which is expected to provide students, teachers, and administrators with access to crucial academic and administrative data through live chatbots such as Smart Upasthiti, Swadhyay, among others.
