Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ICA Global Cooperative Conference on the 25th of this month at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperation, Dr. Ashish Kumar Bhutani, said that for the first time, the Global Cooperative Conference and General Assembly are being organized in India. He said that Mr. Modi will launch a commemorative stamp on the International Year of Cooperatives 2025.
The theme of the six-day conference is “Cooperatives Build Prosperity for All.” Dr. Bhutani said the conference will explore the role of cooperatives in creating a collective, peaceful, and prosperous future for all. He informed that the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji, Manoa Kamikamica, will also attend the conference.
