Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad, Gujarat a short while ago. Tomorrow, the PM will flag off the second phase of Ahmedabad Metro connecting Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. The PM will also interact with the beneficiaries of Pradhanmantri Suryaghar Yojana and inaugurate the fourth edition of Renewable Energy Conference at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Later in the noon, the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several people centric projects worth over 8,000 crore at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Second Phase of Ahmedabad Metro connecting Narendra Modi Stadium to Gandhinagar’s Sector-1 and GIFT City. The new operational route is 21 km Extension of Existing North -South corridor of Ahmedabad metro phase-I and will initially cover eight Metro stations. The PM will also take the ride of the Metro from Gandhinagar Sector 1 Metro station to Gift City Metro station. The extension will boost connectivity between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar and provide speedy and affordable public transport to people.
