External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal briefed about the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister To Mauritius. Mr Jaiswal said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Mauritius from the 11th of this month. He will attend the National Day celebrations of Mauritius, which fall on the 12th of March, as the chief guest. A contingent of Indian Defence Forces will participate in the celebrations along with a ship from the Indian Navy. During the visit, the Prime Minister will call on the President of Mauritius, meet with the Prime Minister of Mauritius, and hold several other meetings with important dignitaries and senior leaders from the country.
