In Tripura, as the campaigning reaches its crescendo for the Tripura West Parliamentary constituency, senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address an election rally at Swami Vivekananda Ground in Agartala tomorrow.

As the first phase of campaigning will come to an end tomorrow evening, hectic campaigning by leaders from various political parties has reached its peak in the Tripura West Lok Sabha seat. In the constituency, the main fight appears to be seen in between the BJP’s Biplab Kumar Deb and INDIA bloc candidate Ashish Kumar Saha, from Congress party.

Today, the Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra held a roadshow in Agartala where the INDIA bloc displayed a big show of strength. Ms. Gandhi was accompanied by party candidate Ashish Kumar Saha and other senior leaders from the Congress party.

Addressing the crowd, in the road show, Ms. Gandhi attacked the government at Centre over the issue of unemployment, saying that the youth has understood that the BJP cannot provide employment and her party has a concrete plan for providing jobs to them if it comes to power.

Meanwhile, voting through postal ballot was held for personnel on polling duty today for the Tripura West seat.
