The Prime Minister Narendra Modi o Tuesday (11th June 2024) thanked world leaders for their congratulatory messages after assuming office as the Prime Minister of India for the third time. He replied to the messages and telephone calls by world leaders on the social media. Responding to a post by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the Prime Minister said that he is grateful for his warm wishes. He added that India remains committed to enhance its bilateral ties with Cuba that are rooted in age-old people-to-people connect. Replying to a post by the President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña, Mr Modi said that he appreciates his greetings and will continue to advance India-Paraguay relations for the benefit of the people. Responding to a post by the President of Panama, Laurentino Cortizo, the Prime Minister said that they will work together for strengthening the mutually beneficial partnership in all dimensions. Replying to a post by the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, Mr Modi assured his commitment to continue working together to deepen partnership between India and Bulgaria. Expressing his happiness over a phone call with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman, the Prime Minister said that he deeply appreciates his warm felicitations and words of friendship. He added that the centuries-old India-Oman strategic ties are destined to scale new heights.
