Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, truth, development, and good governance have won in Haryana. He said, people of Haryana gave a hat trick of victory to BJP on the issue of development. Addressing party workers at BJP Headquarters in New Delhi, after historic Assembly Elections results for BJP in Haryana, Mr. Modi congratulated the people of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. He said, BJP is not only the largest party in the world, it lives in the hearts of most people too. He mentioned that, so far, 13 elections have been held in Haryana, and in 10 of these elections, the people of Haryana changed the government every five years. However, this is the first time that a government which has completed two terms of five years, has again got a chance in the state. He added that the BJP government puts the nation first and is committed to serving the poor. He said, be it the Centre or Haryana government , in these ten years, not a single stain of corruption has been tainted on them.
On Jammu and Kashmir, he remarked that after decades of wait, finally peaceful Assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that among all the parties that contested elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP has emerged as the largest party in terms of vote share. The Prime Minister said, some people used to say that if Article 370 were abrogated, Kashmir would burn, but instead, Kashmir is blooming beautifully. Regarding a Viksit Bharat, Mr. Modi emphasized the importance of four pillars: farmers, youth, women, and the poor. He stated that whether in Jammu and Kashmir or Haryana, his government will always focus on these four pillars to make the country developed. Mr. Modi asserted that this mandate has strengthened the resolve to make India the skill capital of the world and will provide new courage to make India more secure and to take even the toughest decisions. He assured that, in the coming five years, the entire country will witness even faster development.
The Prime Minister also accused the Congress party of tarnishing the image of every institution, be it Election Commission, the police, or the judiciary.
BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda also addressed the party workers.
